POOTHAMKUTTY: The Feast of Ascention of St.Mary, the Mother of God along with Independence Day celebrations were held at St.Mary's Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, Poothamkutty on 15th August, 2017. Vicar Rev.Fr. Eldho Cheriyan Kooran was the chief officiate. The members of the parish sung the National Anthem altogether which was the propel of the whole programme. Sweets were distributed to all present.
