POOTHAMKUTTY: A prayer book including soul-stirring devotional songs and special prayers for the sick, couples, students and afflicted has been released by Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal, the Vicar, in a meeting held at St. Mary's JSO Church, Poothamkutty, Angamaly on Sunday, the 26th February 2012. Nearly thousand copies of the same will be distributed among the faithful on demand. The first copy of the same was presented to Mr. Mathai Kollarmaly who is the co-ordinator of the parish prayer groups. Hundreds attended the function. The Book is intended to accelerate spiritual growth during the Lenten period.
