POOTHAMKUTTY: Marking the beginning of Vachanippu Perunal and Foundation Day celebrations of St. Mary's JSO Church, Poothamkutty, perunal flag was hoisted on Sunday, the 18th March, 2012 soon after the Holy Qurbono by Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal, the Vicar. One-day seminar was also held on the topic "The necessity of Spiritual Education and its contemporary relevance" which was inaugurated by Shri. P. V. Jacob, the Controller of Examinations, MJSSA. Shri. T. C. Alias Master made key-note address followed by group discussion. Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal was the moderator.

As part of Vachanippu perunal and Foundation day celebrations, three-day family renewal retreat has been arranged. St. Paul's Mission of India will lead the retreat from 22nd to 24th March. Warm reception will be accorded to the newly ordained bishops their graces Mor Julius Elias and Dr. Mor Anthimos Matthews on 24th March at 6.PM. Adv. Jose Thettayil MLA will inaugurate the felicitation meeting.

On 25th March, the day of Vachanippu perunal, Holy Qurbono will be led by H.G. Mor Julius Alias.
