VELLAPPARA/POOTHAMKUTTY: The Feast of St.George with a series of colourful programmes held at St.George's Jacobite Syrian Christian Chapel, Vellappara, Poothamkutty. Vicar Very Rev. Varghese Puliyan Cor Eppiscopa hoisted the perunal flag on Saturday, the 9th May 2015 followed by the evening prayer and anniversary programmes of various prayer units. On Sunday, the 10th May, perunal Qurbana was offered by the Very Rev. Varghese Puliyan Cor Eppiscopa followed by grand procession from the Poothamkutty St.Mary's Church to the Vellappara Chapel. Nercha was distributed to all present at the chapel soon after the dedication prayer and benediction. Rev.Fr. K.T. Yacob, Rev.Fr. Nikkolas Maniparambil, Rev.Fr. Eldho Palayil, Dn Basil Benny along with hundreds of faithful attended.
