POOTHAMKUTTY: A rousing welcome will be given to the Poothamkutty (Northern) Region Kothamangalam Foot Pilgrimage at St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, Poothamkutty, Angamaly on 1st October 2015. The foot pilgrimage which starts from the Kodaly St.Mary's JSC of Trissur diocese will reach the St.George Chapel, Vellappara at 6.00 in the evening. Under the auspices of the Poothamkutty church, warm welcome will be accorded under the leadership of the Vicar V.Rev. Varghese Puliyan Cor Eppiscopa and representatives of the Parish Spiritual organizations followed by Evening prayer and halt at the St.Mary's Church. On 2nd, Holy Qurbana will be offered by vicar at the St.Mary's church, Poothamkutty at 5am and after refreshments the foot pilgrimage would resume to the next destination.
