POOTHAMKUTTY: Parish-Day celebrations and Anniversary of various spiritual organizations of St.Mary's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Poothamkutty have jointly been held on 6th May 2012 at the Church premises. The programme started with Holy Qurbono by the Vicar Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal. Special prayers for the parish and prelates of the holy Church were held during the Holy Qurbono. Various cultural and spiritual items were staged in which all spiritual organizations of the parish actively participated. A sumptuous lunch was served to all.

In various cultural and spiritual items St.Perter's & St.Paul's prayer unit won the overall championship with 157 points. Mor Greegorious unit, St.George unit, St.Thomas unit and Mor Ignatious Unit got 80,58,57 and 57 points respectively.
