POOTHAMKUTTY: A garish reception was accorded to the Poothamkutty Region Kothamangalam Foot Pilgrimage at St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Church, Poothamkutty, Angamaly on 1st October 2016. The pilgrimage started from the Kodaly St.Mary's Church of the Trichur diocese which was formerly inaugurated by H.G.Dr.Athanasius Elias Metropolitan on 1st October at 10.30am. At 6.30pm the pilgrimage reached the St.George Chapel Vellappara and under the charismatic leadership of the Vicar Rev. Fr. Eldho Cheriyan Kooran, Rev. Fr. Eldho Palayil, members of the Poothamkutty area accorded a warm welcome in which members from different walks of life irrespective of caste and Creed attended.
