POOTHAMKUTTY: "AATHMAABHISHEKAM"-a special Service for the children and youth was elegantly held at St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Poothamkutty, Angamaly on Sunday, the 27th May, 2012, the day of Pentecost. During the Holy Qurbana, special prayers were held for the differently-abled, mentally retarded and those who are having less learning power. Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal, the Vicar led the service. Under the auspices of St. Mary's Church, School kits (study materials) will be distributed to economically poor students on Sunday, the 3rd June, 2012 as part of Parish Charity activities. Special prayers will also be held for school going children during the Holy Qurbono. Mr. Mathai Kollarmaliyil, P.T. Paulose Paravattil, M.M. Tensing, T.M. Jacob, P.M. Eldhose and P.P. Eldhose will arrange the programme.
