POOTHAMKUTTY: The newly ordained Mor Julius Eliyas Metropolitan offered prayer with incense at the Holy Soonoro (Girdle) of St.Mary, Mother of God kept at the St.Mary's Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, Poothamkutty, Angamaly on 2nd January, 2012. As the prestigious pilgrim centre at the outskirts of Chalakkudy town, St.Mary's Church Poothamkutty has come to the topper edge. H.G. Mor Julius was genially received by the Congregation headed by the Vicar Rev.Fr.Alias Ipe Parackal. H.G made special prayers at the Soonoro with incense and rendered heartfelt gratitude for the sterling reception accorded. Mr.Tensing, the trustee, T.M.Varghese, Mr.Delvin, Secretary Youth Association, Mr.Paulson led the arrangements.
