POOTHAMKUTTY: In connection with Ettunombu perunal, one day widows meet was organized at St.Mary's Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, Poothamkutty on 6th September, 2012. Vicar Rev.Fr.Alias Ipe Parackal made the introductory speech and welcomed the gathering. Near about 82 widows attended the meet from the surrounding areas. Smt. Mary Antony, President of the Angamaly Block Panchayath inaugurated the meet lighting the lamp. Rev.Fr.Paul Paracka presided over the function. Rev.Sr. Gonsaga, renowned psychologist and counsellor took an interesting and informative class on the topic "Widows: Windows of God's chosen Grace". The meeting ended with a retreat.
