Renovation work of Holy Madhbaha started at St. Mary's JSC Church, Poothamkutty

POOTHAMKUTTY: The renovation work of Holy Altar of the St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, Poothamkutty, Angamaly, in tune with the Syriac Orthodox tradition has been started. The work is estimated to take two months. The new madhbaha will be a combination of mural and ancient Syriac tradition of varieties. There will be three altars in which the main thronos is named after St. Mary, mother of God, second one is in the name of St.George and the third one is named after Manjinikkara bava. Under the leadership and supervision of the Vicar work is progressing pretty well.
