POOTHAMKUTTY: Vachanippu perunal, Foundation Day Celebrations, Retreat & Foundation Stone laying Ceremony will be jointly celebrated at St. Mary's JSC Church, Poothamkutty from 22nd to 25th March, 2013. HG Dr. Matthews Mor Antheemos Metropolitan will be the chief officiate for the perunal programme. The Perunal flag will be hoisted by the Vicar Rev. Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal soon after the Holy Qurbana on 22nd March, the 40th day of the Great Lent followed by two days retreat led by the Ankamaly Regional Gospel Team. The retreat will resume at 9 am on 23rd March soon after the Holy Qurbana. On Palm Sunday, Morning prayers will commence at 7 am followed by Holy Qurbana and Palm Sunday special liturgy. On Monday, the 25th March, the day of vachanippu perunal, Morning prayers will start at 7.30 am followed by Holy Qurbana by HG Dr. Mathews Mor Antheemos Metropolitan. Special mediatory prayers for the Sich and needy will be held during the Holy Qurbana. The foundation stone- laying ceremony for the new cross vault at the Poothamkutty Junction will be held thereafter by the Metropolitan followed by distribution of Pachor nercha.
