POOTHAMKUTTY: The first Saturday observation in honour of St.Mary, Mother of God, dedication prayer for the school children well ahead of the commencement of new academic year and distribution of study materials will be conducted at the St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, Poothamkutty on 1 & 2 June respectively. Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal, the Vicar will be the chief officiate. On Saturday, the 1st June Holy Qurbana will be held soon after the Morning Prayer followed by Special intercessory prayers to St.Mary for the sick and afflicted. Nercha will be distributed to all after the prayer with incense at the Soonoro. On Sunday, Holy Qurbana starts at 8.15 am followed by dedication prayer for all the school-going children and the Vicar will distribute study materials for the children prior to the opening of new academic year.
